Nature – the most important ingredient
Nardos A/S produces high-quality skin and body care products for people and animals. The company was founded by Nils Erik Aamann in 1980 and is based on his lifelong passion for cultivating and using plants. Nature as a living laboratory still inspires the development and innovation of Nardos' products and business areas – with focus on the application and effects of plants and their constituents.


From vegetables to body care
The foundation of Nardos was laid in 1975 at the garden centre Holkegaard near Ebeltoft, where Nils Erik Aamann-Christensen cultivated organic vegetables for restaurants and health food shops in Aarhus. At the same time, a laboratory was established in which the produce from his organic cultivation was used for body care creams. Today, Nardos offers a wide range of creams, ointments, shampoos, lotions, waxes, deodorants, etc.


Modern and flexible production
The headquarters of Nardos A/S is located in Knebel – in the midst of beautiful nature in the heart of Mols. We have a 1,400 m2 state-of-the-art production and filling facility as well as a test and research laboratory. We can produce approximately 50 to 1,500 kilos per production and have the equipment for filling bottles, tubes, and jars as well as a wide range of other types of packaging. This means that we are in a position to produce large as well as small series adapted to our customers' demands.


Quality at all levels
Nardos' quality concept goes far beyond the existing legal requirements. We have extremely high standards with regard to raw materials, processes, and documentation of contents and effect, and all our products meet the pharmaceutical quality requirements. Our aim is to make the wide variety of biochemical active substances in plants accessible, and we develop products that cure or alleviate a large number of ailments and illnesses in humans and animals.

Our raw materials do not contain any environmental poisons, micro organisms, or other hazardous substances, and we do not apply substances that risk causing environment damage. The processes are carried out as gently as possible in order to preserve the valuable active substances in the finished product. Last but not least, our quality management system is in compliance with an exceedingly ambitious GMP standard.


Quality assurance at the highest level
All of Nardos' products have a pharmaceutical purity and quality by far exceeding the current legal requirements. Nardos does not produce drugs, but our quality management system ensures a high level of security – for our customers, consumers, and us.
